During your stay at Ambassador’s House, your chef is on hand to prepare all of your meals, leaving you with the hard task of picking what you’d like to eat. Breakfast – select from a Sri Lankan or a European spread – is on us and the rest is up to you.
A suggestion menu is available at the villa, however the chef also welcomes special requests. Light bites for lunch include soups, salads and sandwiches, whilst for dinner why not indulge in a sensational Sri Lankan rice and curry banquet that’s destined to be remembered long after your stay? The villa’s coastal locale means that seafood and fish are day-fresh and abundant.
Fresh tropical fruit can be sourced from the local markets daily and our chef is an expert at whipping up refreshing and healthy juices and shakes; try a cooling lime juice or opt for a health-boosting mixed fruit.
A small selection of wine and international liquor can be bought locally, but if you’re partial to particular brands, we recommend you purchase them from Duty Free on arrival at the airport.
All provisions are charged at cost price. Our staff will shop for you and keep receipts for your reference and payment.
